Question about 2009 Suzuki SX4 Sport
Manual states that this light has something to do with the Emissions-- not tires-- not engine--- WITH EMISSIONS-- DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT IS WRONG? I DON'T WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF -- I AM AN OLD LADY-- THIS IS MY 5TH LETTER TO SOMEONE -- AND NO ONE IS SENDING ANY INFO TO HELP ME-- WHY HAVE THIS HERE?

A zillion other things might be wrong light. power train, body puter,
etc, etc... but glows for smog #1 and may blow or a display VFD may show lots of errors, all this is fully expained in the operators guide in the glove box.

take your car to the auto store that does free SCANs.
also nicer (not the stealerships) will scan for fee so. ask them.
get it scanned,
then that tool shows. an error code. then post that here.

To know what it exactly is, you need a code scanner hooked to it.
If there is an autozone near you, go there, tell them the engine light is on and you need the code, takes about 30 seconds. They don't charge, where other places do. Without that code you'll be replacing things you don't need to. There is other sensors in the emission system other than the 02 sensors.

Here is a site that should help. If I could hook my scanner up I could tell you in minutes if the O2 sensor was working by watching the data stream. the code means you are running lean on the #2 side. This can be caused by a vacuum leak or even a bad sensor. It has to be diagnosed. Read more in this site:

you will only find that out by hooking it to a computer to read any fault coads,,,but il bet its an oxygen censor near the cat?
