Question about Cars & Trucks
I have recently bought a used manual Fiat Panda 2004, 1.2 dynamic. Whenever I stop the engine and remove the key from the ignition an intermittent beeping sound occurs 3 times, I have no idea what this could be as it is nothing obvious like leaving the lights on or a door not being shut properly and no warning lights show up on the dashboard. Any ideas?
Check with FIAT service centre but I suspect that it is the immobiliser and alarm arming themselves after the key has been removed and the noise is to let you know that the process is happening

SOURCE: Beeping with no warning lights
Based on some readings, the beeping sound indicates cold outside temperature. If that is not the case, then the sensor located behind the front bumper has its connector detached or may be faulty. Of course the owner's manual could provide more details.
Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
