Question about 2004 Ford Expedition
Open the tailgate, open the panel behind the light and you will see the light bulb sockets. There is also the nuts to remove the entire fixture. I got one at Pull-A-Part for ten dollars. The whole fixture brand new is expensive

if you cant figure out what fuse to replace. Get a test light and clip the wire on a ground then touch the little metal pieces on top of the fuse by the amp number and witch ones dont light up the test light those are bad and replace those.

It is very common for the light bulb socket to become minorly burned. You need to replace the socket. They are less than 10$. Hope this helps. TJ

brake and turn are the same filament in the bulb. Try a new bulb. if that doesn't work your going to chase a short/ground on that wire back to the switch. get a wiring diagram to help.
