Question about Cars & Trucks
I have a 2001 toyota avalon and the vsc is not working the vsc, vsc off and parking brake lights are on how ever the parking brake is not on and it is not stuck on.
The VSC uses the brake system to function. So if the regular brake system is not working correctly the VSC will be disabled.
The brake warning light is for the parking brake as well as the hydraulic brake system. So it could be low on brake fluid or something else.

You have to use a scanner and pull the code out that is causing the check engine light to come on. whatever code/codes you find are probably related to vsc light.
Good luck and keep me posted
