Question about Cars & Trucks
If the compressor is locked up or beggining to lock up, the belt will squeal loudly. most of the time the ac clutch will not engaged, leaving the center area of the pulley stationary will the pulley itself spins. if the internal portion spins, and there is no squeal, you will have to test it to make sure its building pressure. you can do this by pushing in the pin on the blead lines (just like letting air out of a tire) if pressure builds back after being released, the compressor is working and your issue lies elsewhere.
