Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

The radio is in Lock-Out mode. You only get two attempts to enter the code, then it enters Lock-Out mode.
Put the key in ignition and turn on the radio for an hour (maybe a bit more). The radio should reset itself after about an hour and then you can re enter the code.

SOURCE: hi, I got a 2007
remove your radio. There is a code on the back (provided it is oe) Take the code and proof of ownership to the parts dept. of your VW dealer and they can provide the code. If you are not the original owner, check your owner's manual, as people are advised to wright it inside there.

Yeah you will need to get the code from that book, now before you get to that the key is to keep you radio on for about an hour while u are driving and it will eventually go back to showing u the four numbers so u can input ur code again hope this helps Faraaz.
