Your okey
You have to turn the new axle
after you install it to check it out

The other side is going to turn,
if it didn't ,you wouldn't have the

I need to remove the rear axles to 1996 ford bronco

remove rear cover from rear differential. catch nasty smelling oil (gear lube) in drain pan. remove bolt on side of carrier to be able to pull pin out from so called spider gears. if you have limited slip you may hve to pull S spring out from between side gears. then push axles in and remove C clips fom end of axles. then pull axles out. installation is in reverse of removal. make sure that the C clips are well installed in the groves whe reinstalling axles, or they could fall out and axles will come out while driving. bad deal.if you have limited slip get a bottle of friction modifier from parts store to put in there with new gear lube . is a small bottle like 6 to 8 oz.kepps clutch packs from chatering on turns.

How do I remove the driver-side inner axle shaft

its retaind with a roll type snap ring. you need to POP it out. being carful not to damage it seal, pry with a good jolt between the trans and cv cup, or take a pry bar or pipe and jab at it like your stabbing it lol. dont use a hammer or go crazy but it takes a good wallop to release. then slide it out, to install, trun till it drops in and POP it in by hand with the slop in the cv joints.good luck!

How do i change the drivers side transaxle in a 1994 dodge carava

To change the CV axle, you have to remove the lower ball joint, remove the axle nut, remove from hub, (you can pull the strut out far enough to do this), and the axle will pull out. Install in reverse order. Sounds like you were trying to remove the transmission.

Contact your local parts store. Some are the same and some are different. I believe that the passenger axle shaft is longer than the drivers side.

1988 crysler lebaron 2.2l, turbo

If the car is front wheel drive, then no, they should be different lengths, because of the transmission. The distance between the tranny and the (driverside) tire is shorter, the shorter drive axle will go on that side.

1994 toyota camry axle installation

The old seal may be stopping you.
you must hold axle straight in line it will slide easily in to a point at which you must give a good hard push to seat the axle.
Do whatever you can to verify the shaft is the correct one, and that the internal parts are free of metal shavings use break clean, rags and a magnet.
Apply correct oil or grease to axle prior to installation and install a new seal.
