SOURCE: 95 camaro w/3.8 v6 oil pump neds to be replaced

You will have to remove the front cover of the engine to get to the pump. You can use Auto Zones repair info section on their website to see a basic drawing. If you have an understaning of engines, and okay mechanic skills this website should help you replace the pump.

SOURCE: tps location on 1999 camaro

TPS is always connected to one end of the throttle plate shaft It should not be difficult to identify. If you already have the new one the old one is identical. Usually fastened with two small torx screws.

SOURCE: My 97 Chevy Camaro, Is overheating, The Thermostat

I hate to be the one to tell you but water (coolant) is in your engine oil. The more you run your engine the more you will hurt the engine. Stop running the engine. You have eather a blown head gasket or a cracked head or both. Your engine is full of scum and must be rebuilt or replaced. All of the scum (oil and water mixed) will never come out. It washes the lube off of all you engine parts and clogs up small oiling holes.

SOURCE: 1994 camaro v6 slave cylinder replacement

You will need a set of combo wrenches (SAE), some clear tubing that fits snugly on the bleeder valve, a jar to catch the fluid, brake fluid and a buddy to press the brake pedal. Disconnect the line that comes from the master cylinder from the slave. Use the jar to catch any leaking fluid. Now remove the slave cylinder and install the new one. Reattach the line. Take the clear tubing and push one end on to the bleeder valve. Put the other end in the jar. Fill the jar with a little brake fluid to submerge the end of your tubing. Open the reservoir on the master cylinder and fill as necessary with fresh fluid. Okay, open the bleeder valve and have your buddy pump the brake pedal a few times until the fluid starts to come out of the valve. Close the valve and have them pump the pedal a few more times and then hold it down. Open the valve again and a rush of fluid and bubbles will come out. Close the valve and have your partner release the pedal, then pump and hold it down again. Repeat this process until no more air comes out in the fluid. Make sure you are checking the fluid level while bleeding any hydraulic system so you do not accidentally allow it to empty, which introduces air into the system. If you can get them, use flare nut wrenches on any hydraulic fitting to minimize the chance of stripping the nut. They can be quite soft.

i hope this helps,

Cant find tranny dipstick

I am not sure if I remember or not , but if you were standing by the pass side tire lean over back of engine there should be 2 dip sticks the oil then right next to it but lower is the trans . you might have to reach your hand behind the pass side cyl head / intake and feel for it. and most mercedes do not come with dip sticks they have special caps on them that actualy break when removing . the dealer ships or mercedes service shops have the dip stick and new cap. so yours most likely will just have this cap not dip stick . I cant remember any late model that came with a dip stick . mercedes only wants certified techs even checking it.

I need a dip stick for a 1996 ford taurus lx auto transmission

As for obtaining the dipstick. You might try Napa. If not Napa, then a Ford Dealer. I doubt the dip stick is the end of your troubles here, though.
