SOURCE: explain how to remove front

once you remove brake and hub assembly place on clean workbench with the lug bolts up, then with a center punch and hammer place punch on center of lug and knock it out would reccomend putting the lug nuts on lugstuds till they are flush in order to prevent damage to threads of studs.this will allow you to seperate rotor from hub.

Do a tune up on a 1983 F150

Easy one, plugs, distributor cap and rotor, and possibly plug wires if they are cracked or broken or even corroded on the ends . Top it off w\fuel injector cleaner for the tank, this should cost around a 100 bucks, good oil change wouldn't hurt either when you can get done, those are good trucks and should run forever...

Replace front brake rotor

Remove wheel, Remove brake caliper, remove brake caliper bracket, depending on which setup it is, either the rotor will just slide off now, or it will have a grease cap on the front, peck it off with a regular screwdriver and hammer, pull the big cotter pin, remove nut, then take off rotor, bearings will come out with rotor, if the bearings are good repack them with grease, and pack the front cap with grease when you put it back together.. just barely snug the nut, dont tighten it up. put the cotter cap and pin back in, tap the grease cap back on, bolt caliper bracket back on, put caliper with pads back on, put wheel back on, and your done.. hopefully you have the easy setup where you just pull the caliper bracket off, and put the new rotor on... but if it were me and you had my luck, you wouldnt have that model lol. hope this helps, and if you need any more help, feel free to ask, id be happy to assist you.

Need to remove rear/left side ROTOR on my F150 PU

Have you puchased the new rotor yet? If so, if the new rotor comes complete with the hub assembly than this must be changed also. Try lookin up the part at your local Autozone or a similar place and look at the part image, if it is a complete unit, you'll have to remove the spindle locking ring and nut in order two remove the rotor. If it is just the rotor, than take a large brass hamer and strike the rotor from behind in the space where the caliper was. Do this while rotating the rotor a quarter turn after each hit. It should pop off.
