Take it to the junk yard
electronics submerged with the battery connected burns out vital components, damages rectifiers , ECM, BCM and TCM modules
burns out dash controls and clusters
you gave it a good shot but the reality is that bearings will be damaged , mud will be behind the rings , in the oil galleys, in the transmission and diff units , brake fluid contaminated , power steering damaged

SOURCE: Front Fog Lamps

My guess is you have a corroded wire (that has shorted out the connection); known problem for this vehicle.

SOURCE: Grand Cherokee wont start, clicking coming from interior fuse box

Bare or burned wire, most likely battery cable or alternator cable near exhaust system which might be making contact with a metal part somewhere, off and on, because of bumps, vibration, etc.

SOURCE: engine will not turnover

If there is no power coming IN to the starter relay - the ignition module has failed.
Replace the Ignition.

SOURCE: The rear running lights, dash lights and console

I think yhat in 96 and later Jeeps the internal lighting fuses are located in the passenger side cowl trim panel, relays for internal and external lighting circuits are usually found in the drivers side footwell, normally @ the bottom of the dash near the lower part of the steering coloum. But you could just have a bad ground contact. good luck.

Testimonial: "THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Didn't realize there was ANOTHER fuse panel. The one on the passenger side cowl panel was TOTALLY MISSED. Found my problem fuse"

When it rains my 2005 chevy aveo floor fills up with water. I have cleaned out all vents and checked for leaks - but can find nothing. Please help me.

The waterchannels down from the roof to each side of the vehicle through the inside of the fenders, even though the vents are clear the channels to divert the water may be plugged. Look behind the fender (sounds impossible, but open the doors and look where the hinges are, you should be able to see somewhat behind the fenders, check for debris lodged within the cavity behind the fender, water can fill up and run back into the interior of the vehicle. A leaking door seal will also allow water to seep into the interior.

Water got inside my 2001 Toyota corolla

Remove the box (ECU), and thoroughly clean it, dry it and retry. Remember to clean its connector pins and plugs. Don't use WD-40, but an electrical cleaning spray like switch cleaner.

Check engine main fuses and all minor fuses.

Repair water leak. Was the leak from the interior heater matrix? If so, then you will need to repair the water leak before replacing any electrical components or ECU.

We have a 2005 Toyota Avalon. The warning light of car and key flashed, now vechile will not start. Why?

Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

Legend of Abbreviations. ABS Antilock brake system.TCS Traction control system, TCM Transmission control module, SRS Supplemental restraint system, BCM Body control module

My 1999 Toyota Avalon has a leak that I can't find. When it rains the floor boards on the passenger side are both wet. I have a sun roof so how are the floor boards getting wet and how do I fix it?

There are 2 'weep' holes where tubes come out of the firewall and sometimes they get plugged. Get some compressed air and blow them out.

Also, inside the vehicle, there is a plastic pan that catches all water that might come down from the evaporator or leak from the outside into the interior of the car when the seal is not good between the firewall and the plastic pan that spans from the left to the right of the car under the dash board.

Get some expanding foam in a can and spray it up against the juncture between the firewall and the plastic water pan. This should seal out the problem if done properly.

Over time, the original foam seal goes bad and can actually flake away.

You mentioned the sunroof. Make sure that all the gaskets and that the sunroof does not leak onto the floor. This can be another source of wetness for your vehicle.

Try testing it by spraying water down from a hose to the top of the vehicle, or dumping a bucket of water all at once on the top of the roof. If it leaks, try using silicon sealant to seal any gaps that may exist in the sunroof.

Hope this helps.

HOW DO I REPAIR/SECURE THE CEILING/INTERIOR ROOF

assuming it is only the cloth portion that has fallen you can remove the entire head liner and then re-glue it to the backer board

however, you need a special headliner glue which is a lot like contact spray adhesive

not a tough job but time consuming since you have to remove a lot of interior trim

when customers get the quote, $300, they usually either pin it with straight pins or just tare it off

good luck and keep us posted

ODBII Code P0300 on a 2005 Corrolla Hard cold start P0171 Code after engine warms up.

Hello. The P-0300 indicates a multi-cylinder misfire. The P-0171 code indicates a dirty Mass Air Flow sensor.

Remve the MAF from the intake tube, between the air filter box, and the throttle body. Inspect the interior of it, look for 2 small wires. If they are dirty, or fuzzy, clean them by spraying brake cleaner on them, until they are clean. Don't use compressed air, you will damage the wires. After the sensor is cleaned, reinstall it and drive the car. The clean wires will then retransmit the correct airflow, and the computer will re-learn the correct values.
