SOURCE: HOW DO I REPLACE MY TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS ON 2003 HYUNDAI TIBURON

I just found out today that it is a problem for alot of 2003 tiburons that the flasher relay for the turn signals will go out causing the turn signal lights to stay on even with the car off. The relays are internal and located on the circuit board of the BCM. In order to fix you will have to remove and disassemble the bcm circuit board from it's housing and resolder a new flasher relay. Haven't figured out where to get that flasher relay though.

SOURCE: Car losing battery

Possible faulty starter motor. If it is stuck on, you will not always know, it will drain your battery and burn itself out, particularly the solenoid. It could blow other fuses, check and replace if required. Try replacing starter motor. Some times you can give the starter motor a sharp tap and it will work but not always, first sign of a dodgy starter motor is click click click.

SOURCE: 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

The tiburon turn signals are controlled by a bcm (body control module) The bcm controls the ground to the signals. These always go bad and cause the signal to stick on or just not work. hope i was a help.

SOURCE: left turn signal beeps very fast and signal light not working, now is working fine and so is signal light

When your turn signal goes out it tends to blink VERY rapidly before burning out, It's a nice way to let you know before hand that you need to replace the bulb soon.

2008 envoy Denali right turn signal and right hazard quit. replaced relay worked for 20 minutes of driving then right turn and right hazard quit again??? LEFT SIDE IS FINE

Sounds like you have a wiring issue ! Maybe when you installed the turn / hazard relay you moved the wiring harness in such away that made it work. Grab the wiring harness an do the wiggle test an see if it works . Mite have lose connection where the relay plugs in, close the terminals a little bit. I don't know what you know about electrical systems on automobiles or I'd tell you to do a voltage drop test to find the problem . Need volt ohm meter an a wiring diagram to do this test. 92 caprice classic turn signals not working, but the bulbs are fine. Hazards, brakes, etc all work fine. Any ideas?

Yes, the problem is the turn signal flasher is defective. You can has two flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. That is why the hazard lights flash and the turn signals do not. Replace the turn signal flasher relay located on the drivers side of the steering column, mounted behind the instrument cluster in the convenience center. They are both mounted in the same location so turn on the hazard lights and the one that you put your finger on that is not clicking is the turn signal relay.

Turn signals do not operate front or rear. Headlamps, brakes, and hazards fine. No clicking when signal is used either, nothing.

It sounds like the turn signal relay has gone bad, The clicking sound you hear when they work is the relay working, The hazard lights have their own relay that is why they still work. Your owners manual should tell you where to find the relays but if you don't have it anymore turn on the hazards and see if you can follow the noise and both relays should be located in the same place, you should be able to pick one up at any good parts store.

Well it sounds like you have a short circuit somewhere. it apperars to be messing with the relay that you replaced. have you checked all the fuses in your fuse-box? how about all the bulbs on the exterior of the vehicle? try those things then post back.

93 buick century -turn signals

The Buick Century uses separate relays for the hazard warning and turn signal functions. The turn signal relay is located on the accelerator pedal bracket, and the 4-way flasher relay is located on the convenience center near the left kick panel. Try switching these two relays with one another to see if your turn signals work instead of your 4-ways.
