Could be the brake switch or the shift lock solenoid.
You may be able to get it out of park when the key is between lock and on.

2005 Pontiac Grand Prix front left turn signal went out, I replaced the bulb and the light comes on but the turn signal still doesn't work. If I have the lights sent on automatic the right parking

Hey I literally just today had the same problem, put a new bulb in the light was on but did not blink!!!! SUPER EASY SOLUTION, you simply have the bulb in too far. I gently pulled mine out a tiny bit and it started working fine... guarantee that's all that's happening to you!!!

06 pontiac grand prix wont start no clicking when you turn the key over even jump starting the battery, has dash lights & radio & parking lights. battery tested good. put a used starter & altinator on

Used parts such as starters and altinators don't last. It might **** but it sounds like you need to buy a new starter, altinator, and battery. Or just start with buying one at a time.

I have a 2001 pontiac grand prix and it was running great. we drove it about 200 miles in one day and it never gave us a minutes trouble. that night we were coming home and came to a red light and had to...

Sounds like the transmission fluid needs to be checked. Either low with a leak, or too much and fluid foaming up. Follow instructions on dip stick.

Could be a sticking switch on the brake pedal arm, up under the dash. On most cars, stepping on the brake signals the computer to unlock the torque converter in the transmission.

Hope this helps.
