Have the CPU/ ECM checked as reverse polarity is a good way of burning them internally.

SOURCE: car doesn't start. when ignition is turned (new ignition) I hear a relay chatter and my horn sounds intermittely, Battery is new & tested goo

The chatter is due to low voltage. Check all the connections. The battery may have corrosion that lowers the voltage.

Why was the battery replaced? Theres no reason the the 100 amp fuse to blow unless the alternator is shorted or you hooked up the battery backwards. I think the 100 amp fuse goes to the alternator. If it was hooked up backwards then you may have engine computer damage.

It thinks it was stolen , security. Hook the battery up and then turn the car on. This should stop the horn and reset the security.

1995 dodge ram 1500, battery is good, no power at all anywhere including the horn and headlights. could it be the ignition switch? thanks in advance!

It sounds more like a bad connection to the battery. Lose terminal, Broken cable are both posibilities. The head lights and horn should work regardless of the ignition being on or off. Check all your connections to your battery and you should find the problem.

Disconeced battery to check fuses, hooked battery up when done, horn honked, whole vechical is dead no power, checked with a fluke have power to fuse box.

You have to have battery hook up to check fuses with test light,
When you unhooked battery you put vehicle in thief mode,
thats why horn honked and disabled ignition.
