How to test fuel pressuer on a mazda 929

Find your test valve on your fuel rail (under the hood) and you will need a fuel pressure regulator gauge to check the pressure. You can also look up online the specs for the pressure recommended. You did not provide your size engine so i could not look up specs for the pressure. Hope this helps.

Hi ,, i have a 4 litre mazda t4000 ,, its a horse truck ... it blows a fair bit of black smoke when going up hills and some white smoke when i start it up ... should i worry ... thanks

The black smoke is unburnt diesel fuel- lift your foot. When I was learning to drive diesel trucks (many years ago, in one of these trucks) I was taught that when going up hill under load, I should lift off the accelerator until it just starts to die off, then give it a little bit just to hold revs. No more black smoke.

When you start it, do you let the glow plugs heat for long enough? (Does it have them? I can't remember).

Puting on a set of exhaust headers anyone know the torque specs and sequence.

Hard to know without knowing brand of car, engine size, and brand of headers. Best to contact header manufacturer and get specs from them. They will NOT be the same specs as your manifold specs.
