How do I repair a brake booster motor

You should be able to get a "rebuild kit" for the booster. There are rubber seals and diaphragms in the booster that can go bad.

I would check for loose motor mounts or transmission mounts. Also check shifter rod linkage for looseness or adjustment.

2003 nissan frontier stalls when i slam on the brakes

Check oil level, but might be idle motor going bad. The idle motor kicks down the idle as needed as the rpm dictates. If sudden reduction in rpm occurs the idle motor normally keeps up and motor continues running at reduced idle. Unless its going out on you, then you may experience stalling when speed is suddenly reduced such as hard braking.

Where is the location of the ac / heat resister

Generally, the resistor is mounted near the blower motor in or on the heater assembly. Air moving inside the assembly keeps the resistor cool. Models with a/c usually have the resistor mounted near the blower motor behind the glove box.

Will a worn out motor mount make the van idle rough or vibrate the car?

Have somebody stand in front of van with the hood open and watch the motor while you start the van.Put the emergency brake on and your foot on the brake, shift into D keeping your foot on the brake with your other foot give the engine a little gas and watch the motor. If a motor mount is broke the motor will lift up a little on the broken side.Be careful!

My chrysler pacifica has motor mount problems. I bought a 2004 pacifica and every time I stop hard you hear this popping, the mechanic said he repaired it but it still makes the popping sound

check if the struts are mounted well because sometime when they lose that rubber top They keep the car do that popping. Jack the car side by side or both and and try to shake the wheel with your hands while you're looking at the struts on top and see if there is any paly. Do that on both sides if they are ok, then check again your Motor mounts.

Hi i have a ford and i jumps when i put it in gear and it doing it in all gears can u help me out thanks

Kind of sounds like you have a bad motor mount. That's the most likely culprit. Torque from the transmission puts the engine under a lot of twisting pressure if one motor mount is broken or is worn out. This is what keeps the engine secured to the front of the car. The transmission should make the wheels go around, not the motor(LOL).Have someone stand next to the car when you crank it up and put it into gear(with your foot on the brake,of course) and see which side of the engine rises up. That's how you know for sure. Then have it fixed. If the other one goes bad too,I've seen someone crank up a car with two bad motor mounts, it's not a pretty sight.
