May not be a fuse, but the heater fuses are either located in the kick panel below the steering column or near the driver's side wheel well under the hood.

You may just have a faulty thermostat or be low on coolant, however.

Heater blows cold

Check the heater matrix valve firstly for it's valve operation and cable operation. Also check that the heater matrix isn't clogged with hair and gunk. this can dramatically affect how much air can blow through it.Check that the pipes leading in and out of it are hot from the engine. If not, then check your engine for coolant leaks, blockages and running temperature. If your engine isn't getting up to heat, then neither will your heater. This could likely be a thermostat which has failed.

Fuse blows when ac or heat is turnd on, not on vent.

Disconnect the blower motor and see if the fuse blows, if that isn't it disconnect the AC compressor and so on.

Why is my car's exaust giving out white smoke even when the heat or air is off?

THe heat and air has nothing to do with the exhaust, It is either burning rich, burn your eyes? Or it is blowing steam out from a blown head gasket, check the top of the radiator for oil an check the oil for water. A radiator shop can do a comp check, do not let it over heat, it could go months before finally stop running. Check again and make sure it isn't a blueish smoke, It would be oil. Whole different story.

1998 JIMMY KEEP BLOWING #6 FUSE AT DRIVERS INSIDE FUSE BLOCK WHEN ACTIVATING BLOWER MTR. ACTUALLY NOTICED, DO BELIEVE,ONLY WHEN CAR IS RUNNING.

You have a bare wire somewhere either in your instrument cluster or under the hood where the blower motor is. It's located on the passenger side behind your computer it's easy to inspect the wires there cause they are all exposed. If a bare wire is showing just tape up with electrical tape or duct tape to keep it from arking out. If not that check that aground wire isn't fastened somewhere under the hood or on firewall. Check wires from fuse box all the way through the firewall could be dangerous. Also make sure you have the right amp fuse in if it tells you to use a 15 or 20 or 30 amp fuse make sure you have that one in.A lower number fuse will heat up and blow everytime.

Lighters do not work and back hatch will not open. Is it a fuse? Which fuse?

check all the fuses with a test light at the fuse panel as you may have more than one fuse bad.replace the fuse and operate the rear hatch and if it works then and the fuse isn`t blown then you probably have a lighter assembly that is blowing the fuse.to find out which one activate each one separately and check the fuse after trying each one before trying another one.the lighter that blows the fuse you may have to replace the lighter element or the lighter socket to stop the fuse from blowing.

Thermal fuse keeps blowing. Dryer heats up too

The problem will be either your vent is stopped up or the cycling thermostat and the high limit thermostat are bad. If the vent is clean, both the cycling thermostat and the high limit thermostat are welded closed. Both are supost to open to avoid over heating. Go to www.partselect.com and enter your complete model number. It will bring up diagrams of you machine. From there you can find the parts ans also order them if you want to. Good luck.
