Question about Saturn SL2
2001 Saturn sl2 wouldn't crank so we put a new starter on. now it cranks but still wont start. We checked the plugs and they have spark, also checked the cam position sensor and it to has spark. The battery is good too. HELP! Any ideas??
Have you checked the fuel injectors? Fuel filter? Fuel pump? Sounds to me like you have a fuel delivery problem.
Try the following: remove the airbox and spray some starter fluid into the throttle body while someone else cranks the motor. If it starts for a second and dies, then you KNOW you have a fuel delivery problem. If it doesn't change and still won't start, then the problem is either a bad sensor somewhere (crank position sensor, maybe?) or no compression.
