99 dodge neon will not start after the fuel pump

When you trn the key forward to the run position can you hear the fuel pump hum? It will only do it for a few seconds. You may have to lay near the tank and have someone turn the key. if you don't hear it you did something wrong or you have a faulty fuel pump. You should also test the wire going in the tank to make sure there is power going in when the key is on.

it takes a while to fill the lines again after the replacement. keep turning it over. mine done the same thing.
