I inadvertently left an interior light on in my 2011 Suzuki SX4, just before leaving for vacation in a different car. When I got back, my SX4's battery was completely drained, but I was able to quickly charge it to full capacity. However, when I turned on the ignition, I got a "SYSTEM CHECK" display. How can I reset that condition?
Use a code reader to reset the CPU program as it has become corrupted from the dead battery

You could have a bad connection somewhere. Possibly on the alternator. You also may have a bad ground somwhere. Hope this helps any

Do you have gauges on this car also?
If so, you may have a problem with what is called a "current shunt" resistor. This will prevent the car from recharging the battery....accordianman

My wife left the ignition on with the lights on and drained the battery completely. I'm having the exact same problem. Any ideas how to fix it?
