Stihl 017 turn over but will not start


A common problem for this model is dust from a dull chain getting into the fuel system and blocking the check valves. Recommend checking with a local dealer like www.arcolawn.com to get a new carburetor since prices dropped last year.

.017, dwell should be 31 degrees

1966 pontiac 389ci 4bbl no/air, what's the timing degree; the dwell; and @ what rpm? Thanks, Ed


use feeler gauges to set points set them at .017 then timing should be 10-12 degrees
