Question about Ford Cars & Trucks
If it calls for mid-grade or premium gas and you put in regular and have been using regular it will cause a knock overtime. Also, you could be overdue for an oil change which has resulted in sticky lifters. Do an oil change and use Quaker State (as it has detergents to clean the lifters) and try some Sea Foam or Lucas in the oil as well. You will need to do a few frequent (100-200 km (approx 150 miles)) oil changes to clear the stuff that was causing the lifters to stick as it will end up in your oil filter and eventually get flushed back out if you don\'t.
