Difficult to shift from Park to Reverse and back. All other gears move fine between each other. Brakes switch works fine. Transmission fluid is fine.

The linkage needs ajust. Its under the vehicle so if u du it..use jackstands...a jack alone will fall. A shop manual is helpful..library or from partstor. U cud also have a worn trans

It is slipping & your still driving it,so you did it in

Joe is correct,it has to be rebuilt,then continue on,
if you still have electronic issues

Transmissions last about ten years tops

They fail mostly because the fluid is not changed
every 2 to 3 years, regardless of mileage

The first thing I have to ask you is When was the last time the transmission was serviced? Transmission fluid and filter change?

After driving about 30 miles transmission jecks

First what type car/truck but sounds like gears going out in tranny forts check fluid level but if already jerking back and forth like it wanting go or little tight in gears then yeah it's telling u check fluid level then the tranny mount if those are good then it's going out 3000/5000 for new tranny hope it's just the fluid level but don't sound like that's it wish u the best and sorry to be bad news guy

Car runs and shifts but does not move could this be a sensor?

i had a car that done this it sat for 3 months until i found out that they are 2 different kinds of speedomoter cables one diganel the other a standard speedometer cable mine took the digental if you get under your car an look where the tranmisson is youll see a cable going into the tranmisson if you do its a digintal one an mine was broke at the little bulb that went into the tranmisson an your car will start an shiff gears but it will not move at all replace this an then it will drive a machanic told me i needed a new tranmisson but i didnt so they are 2 kinds of speedomoter cables this was my cars problem

This is a situation of low pressure,as you warm up the vehicle the transmission fluid is warmer which allow the torque convertor to produce pressure to collapse the clutch pack and transfer power for a shift gear,your solution is a torque convertor and a front pump

Tranmisson is taking to long to shift out of first gear

automatic gearboxes are not something you can service yourself.
the only thing to do is check the transmission fluid level as low fluid level can cause this. there is normally a separate dipstick for this.
if the level is correct it will need to be checked by an automatic gearbox specialist.

Automatic tranmisson slow on changing gears

Bad vacuum modulator or oil and filter needs changed also may need TSS valve or other vacuum leak problem.
