Question about Mazda Millenia
Driving my 2000 Mazda Millenia on highway and it just cut off. Mechanic said it looks like my motor went bad. My battery hasnt held a good charge in over 1 month. Mechanic says to get rid of my car. He says the car wont start, he fully charged the battery and that I need to get a new car since it wont run. He says the oil was super low and that MAY have caused it. Please help! Shouldnt he had added oil, got a new battery and tried to get it started?

If you have run out of oil then you more than likeley scrapped the engine

Sounds like a similar problem I had. I had a bad battery. Jumping the car and charger did not help. All instruments work as I am guessing the battery had enough juice to light those but not enough to start car. Either bad battery or alternator. I changed out the battery and everything was fine. If you have an aftermarket stereo or amp, make sure they are setup right. The amp may be drawing power even if radio and car is off which may attribute to low start power (including above suggestions).

Likely, you have a damaged engine bearing. When there is a problem there it will turn oil pressure light on because bearings keep the pressure inside the crankshaft...It may stop as the bearing overheats and binds, then loosens up a bit allowing a re-start when it gets cooler. Battery sounding dead is likely because the engine is locking up and too difficult for starter to turn.
At this point, it is not a do-it -yourself project ...either you need a lower end rebuild or engine replacement.

it may be your computer not allowing you to start your engine W/O oil psi it may have a sensor that kills the engine from starting otherwise it might be the starter relay

No, I would say your starter may be going out. Also tune up (coils especially) should be done before any real troubleshooting.

SOURCE: Daughter called me ..car wont
it sounds like you have blown fuse to the Alternator.. I don't know what car you are talking about but they charging systems vary.. But if alternator isn't getting all the power it needs it won't charge. this should be checked.
