Typically you pour it down the tranmsission's dip stick tube.) Use an appropriate funnel for the purpose. Be sure to follow the instructions in the owner's manual for how to measure transmission fluid level before you proceed. Normally you should not have to add fluid as it is not consumed.

What are the recals on 2006 750li

Hi, I purchased a 2006, BMW 750li 7 months ago..this car has 71,000 miles and I hardly drove it since buying it.However, I noticed that fluids was leaking and to my a long story short, I took it the the BMW dealership-they changed the oil pan, but the reason for going was because it started showing transmission fault, and when I put the gear in drive it jumps back to park-on top of a very hard jerk when I put into drive to drive off. I ask the dealer to re set the fault control, but the car is doing the same thing..anyone has a solution to this problem? The said I need a transmission, and it will cost $7,700.00

My 2006 bmw 750li is showing transmission fault

hi, this could be your battery loosing voltage, check it with a volt meter to see if it reads between 12v - 12.5 v if it is low it might need replacing, you could also check your alternator to see if it is charging correctly you will find your car will be stuck in either 3rd or 4th gear ( limp home mode ) hope this helps please vote thanks

Sounds like the reverse gear is gone out in your tranny. Try a reputable transmission shop.
