SOURCE: not getting heat in cab

Is the blower running at all? Also, make sure the main air intake vent is free of obstructions.

Also, a vacuum leak could cause the actuator to not function correctly. I'd check into the vacuum lines if all else fails. I've had too many cars here with heat/air problems due to vacuum loss and the actuators not switching correctly.

If you've changed the coolant recently, it could be air locked in the heater core. To remove park the truck with the front higher than the back and remove the radiator cap. Start the engine and let it run while watching for a big air bubble burp coming out the radiator neck. Top off the coolant and continue.

Sounds like you have air trapped in the heater core when you flushed the heater core. loosen the upper most heater core hose and run the engine untill coolant seeps out. Wait until the coolant has reached running temperature.

My heater blow cold air how to fix

Determine if the heater core is plugged first by grabbing both heater hoses. If they both are cool the the core is plugged or the water control valve isn't letting water in. If both hoses are warm then the air diverter door hasn't moved to direct air thru the heater core.

No heat in my 2000 toyota tundra

Check to see if your coolant levels are down. Check to assure the coolant is circulating and that your thermostat is opening and closing and not stuck. Check toi be sure there is no blockages in your coolant system. The heater core could be blocked. Check to see if your switch on the dash that adjusts from warm to cool is functioning properly. It may be stuck in the cold position
