SOURCE: Toyota Hiace 99 Fuel filter change

Look first right rear back under fuel tank,< If not, follow fuel lines from fuel tank one main line, one return line, traveling parallel to frame all the way to the motor compartment on front, can be front under right passenger side, first by the filter at the auto parts, that way you will know what to look for

SOURCE: How difficult to replace 1995 Toyota Corolla radiator/thermostat

You can replace the radiator yourself, but why do you need to? The thermostat is on the engine. Follow the large hose that goes to the engine block....not the water pump. The thermostat is under that or sits on the top of the engine....looking for a pic for you!

SOURCE: How do you disassemble toyota hiace 2006 dash?

Its easy, The only tool you need is a plastic lever tool. Or can be done with big head screw driver (but car for the trims for it can get damaged)
Lever both side vents out, then pull on the trim gently outwards. (long piece from glove box to the end of the radio before the instrumental dash panel) Then pull the main inturmental dash out towards you as well. There may by plugs connected to the front panel. Disconnect that and it exposes the digital meter, I think it then takes only 2 x 10m bolts and the dash is out.

2001 Hiace. How can I replace radiator overflow tank?

1) Go to Toyota order a new one.
2) Go to auto scrap yard and get one off an old vehicle.
3) Get anything that is metal and will hold about a gallon and bolt it to the radiator frame or firewall and insert a hose into the container until it is almost at the bottom and secure it in that position. Attach the other end of the hose to the overflow connection on the radiator.

2003 Toyota Hiace 5L Diesel overheat problems resolution

cause of engine overheating is either the rad fan not working well or luck of circulation of coolant through the engine, if rad fan is working well then might be your radiator {rusty, dirt or clog rad core or leak} make sure your rad cap and all hose and clamp is in good condition as well not preventing any air getting in the system or escaping coolant check also or replace the thermostat might be defective

After replacing radiator and hoses etc to Toyota hiace van is there anything specific to be done bar filling it with water? Worried engine will have air lock and will cook engine

Best way to get the air out is to loosen a heater hose when its running and let it burp a few times. Run it with the rad cap off until you are sure the thermostat has opened. The coolant should drop when it opens.

Hey i fitted a new radiator, and tempature sender to my hiace 18r engine it seems to run at three quarter way up on the guage and does not go above this is this normal? i checked the thermostat and it...

Hi, sounds like your temperature sender unit is not the correct one, three quarters on any vehicle is too high, i would get it looked at as soon as possible or change it, most sender units have a rating on them so change it to a "cooler" unit
