SOURCE: Rear door won't open

its in the door handle itself, tell your mechanic hes crazy, dont let someone put a hole in your truck.. all he needs to do is, worst case broke the handle off, you need to replace it anyway, once he brakes it off he can release the door by pulling the rods in the door.. once open just replace the handle.. i think its about a $20 fix for the handle..good luck keith...

SOURCE: how do you remove the rear side door panel to

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls

SOURCE: need to remove inner rear passenger side door

On the inside trim, you can remove screws (these screws may be covered by filler pieces or may be visible, or they may require you pry a plastic piece off that covers the screws) that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you need to pull back the weather seal and then you can access the bolts securing the outer handle

SOURCE: How to replace passenger side mirror on 2007 Camry

To remove mirror pry off inside triangle panel(black) which exposes 3 nuts which are removed with socket wrench. Detach wire harness and pull out mirror assembly. To replace insert new mirror screws thru assigned holes and reconnect wire harness and tighten nuts to snug. Push inside triangle panel back into place and you're done! It's that easy.

I have a rope stuck in the door latch of a 2009 Kia Rondo, and the door is closed, so won't open from the inside or out. Is it possible to get the door panel off while it's closed? Or slide...

You might be able to get the top part of the cover off but I don't know haw much room there will be to get at the latch. You will have to be careful so as not to damage the cover.

Driver,s door will not unlock. all other doors do.

I have this same problem but both my driver and passenger side doors are not stuck shut. I called Kia and they were not helpful AT ALL. They said they had not heard of this before which is a blantent lie. I then found out about the government agency that issues recalls and they have an online form that anyone can fill out to instigate a recall. Based on the number of posts that I have seen not only on this website but others I think it warrants a recall. This is a huge safety issue and they need to fix it. Please anyone having this problem file a claim, here is the website: www.safercar.gov.

Thanks!

I am currently having the same problem. It strikes me odd that there are so many with the same problem. This seems to be a safety issue as well. If I need to get out of my car quickly and can't because I accidently locked the doors while inside. You would think there would be a recall on something this serious.
