There is a parking light switch between the steering wheel and the dash..It is easily accidentally knocked on when cleaning/dusting..
You'll feel silly when you find it..I know I did lol..

SOURCE: subaru legacy sunroof wont open but motor turns

Same problem mine will only work when it is warm out because of the gasket. When there is the slightest difference in colder temperatures I need to press on the top of the sun roof while hitting the button to have it slide. Using the gasket cleaner may be a good idea. I haven't tried that yet though so don't take my word

there is a plug on the shaft-side of the differential. Using a ratchet remove the plug and with the engine OFF, stick your finger inside the hole and you should get fluid just below the threads of where the plug goes in.

My side lights wont turn off front and back

There is a special Parklight switch on top of the steering column between the steering wheel and the dash.
You probably accidentally turned it on cleaning perhaps?
I believe the switch is there so you can leave your parkers on whilst also being able to remove the keys and lock the doors etc as normally all lights switch off when you take the key out.
Silly place to put it though..took ages for me to find it when the same thing happened to me!!
