When you turn the key to "START", does the engine turn over? If so, check to make sure your plugs aren't fouled.

Otherwise, you could have a faulty distributor or broken distributor gear.

2002 Mitsubisihi Lancer will turn over but not fire

If the plugs aren't firing then it won't turn over. You must have something else going on. "turns over" to me means it is getting fuel and the plugs are firing. Are you sure it is turning over? If it isn't turning over then the starter is grinding away and nothing is happening or you just hear a clicking noise but when a car is turning over you hear it running, meaning it is firing on all or some cylinders.

Car will not start..the check engine light and low coolant light is on...

Disconnect the air intake to the throttle body and spray some Ether into the throttle body and see if it will attempt to fire. If it doesn't, you might want to get a spark plug tester and plug it in to see if you are getting any fire, if you are getting fire, the timing chain might be at fault, if you aren't getting fire, you will need to go to the source of distribution of voltage...the module would be a next good place to look...good luck!
