it is inside the heater/ac box which goes from one side to the other under your dash and is a monster to get out. check to make sure your actuator motor (which operates the blend doors) is working first.

its under the radio on the floor. look on the floor right next to the gas pedal. you will see a black side cover. remove the cover and you will see the computer. there is a cover on the passenger side also. right under the glove box next to your left foot if you were sitting in pass. side seat.

look to see if your vaccum lines are in good condition. the vaccum opens and closes the door otherwise it may be leading to a bad controller

Whers the starter on my nissan maxima 2004 se


Assuming they used any sense at all when they built that motor it is transverse mounted and the starter is located on the front side where the transmission housing and motor come together. Unfortunately that means it is located partially below the exhaust manifold and you will have to remove most of the intake manifold to get at it.

2001 nissan maxima se--trouble shooting for blower motor resistor


if your blower motro only works on the #4 setting you need a resistor.cheap and easy to change.located next to blower motor under pass. side of dash.two phillips screws secure it.if it fails again replace blower motor as it is drawing too much current and overheating resistors.let me know how it turns out.

i have a 1999 maxima se and I cant find where to put the power steering fluid or the transmission fluid. I see the place for one of them but not sure which one it is. i lost my book.

No heat.. fan works heater core hoses hot ...new thermistate ...


OK IF BOTH HEATER HOSES ARE HOT IT HAS TO BE A BLEND DOOR MOTOR PROBLEM YOU NEED TO FIND THE BLEND DOOR MOTOR UNDER DASH MOVE TEMP KNOB BACK AND FORTH. SEE IF BLEND DOOR IS MOVING IF NOT MAKE SURE YOU HAVE VOLTAGE. IF SO REPLACE BLEND DOOR

undo the child locks. These are located on the side of doors.
