1 check,Feel the heater hoses,do they get hot ,both or one? They should be hot,if not flush the heater core directly with a hose, back and forth at each hose connection.
2nd check, clamp off the top rad hose and force the hot water through the heater and check heat output. If there is heat with top rad hose clamped change the thermostat,it's either leaking or defective, new or not.

SOURCE: 2001 dodge ram 1500 ac is blowing hot air instead of cold

Your A/C sounds like it needs to be vacuumed
out and then recharged to factory specs. That
should solve the problem.

SOURCE: 95' Cadillac DeVille has no heat

There is several ways to see. 1. It could still be the heater core, try blowing air in to IN house, if it comes out the OUT hose strong, its not that. 2. It is posible there is an a pocket in the system. Try bleeding the air hose, that could be it. 3. Take the glove box out, disconnect the air bag CAREFULLY! Start the car, And turn the heat all the way up, then all the way down. U should see a arm move back and forth. MAke sure it goes ALL the way shut, and open. 4. It could be that the doors in the dash don't work. I'm not sure how to do this. Hope the other work!!

2001 VW Beetle 2.0 heater won t heat up

If you flushed the coolant with the thermostat in, chances are you didn't flush the coolant. Regardless, it's easiest to check the controls inside first. Does the blower fan work? Does the air flow change from floor to vent, to dash as it's supposed to? Does the A/C change temps when knob is turned from cold to hot? Post results.

Is there a filter that can be cleaned on the heating system?

You are a bit vague on your question. If you are having problem getting heat out of your heater check the following
1. cover the radiator as you drive with cardboard and see if your temperature goes up. If it does it is likely a thermostat that you need to replace.
2. if that doesn't help. get the vehicle warm. reach in and grab the heater hose that goes through the firewall to your heater coil. they should both be warm to hot. If one is warm and the other cold, then you probably need to flush your system as it is blocked in the heater core.
3 if they are both warm to hot, then you have heat in the heater core, and you have some sort of mechanically operated system that won't allow you to get the heat out of the core to you. I am not sure how you would fix that, you need to know your car and what type of valves or systems operate in your particular vehicle.

hope this helps

2002 dodge 1500 Changed radiator, thermostat, and hoses. No heat

Why was radiator replaced?Did it have heat before ? If it was plugged, the heater core may also be plugged. Try flushing it with a water hose in both directions. I dont know why the botton radiator hose would be cold, the radiator should be a uniform temp and the air coming through the radiator should be HOT, when the engine is at operating temp. What condition was the old coolant? if it was rusty, the water pump may have lower flow than normal.

The 2002- 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 L. has a single core radiator with flat fins that become easily plugged with scale and other stuff floating around in your motors cooling system. Since these fins are so small about .040 of an inch good luck flushing out any clogged particles by doing a flush. Many of the online part stores have replacement radiators for less than $120.00 (Rock Auto, for example). Replace the radiator with a new unit. Make sure to flush the engine block and heater core before connecting back to new radiator. I completed this job over the past weekend in less than 3.0 hours start to finish. Have less than $220.00 in all hoses, Thermostat, Radiator and new coolant.

you need to get under the dash board and remove the passenger lower kick panel. ther will be a small motor bolted into the evaporator housing. remove it and manually move the blend door. if the heat gets hot the you need a blend door actuator.

What temp rating is the thermostat you bought ? there are 3 I believe for your truck, check this and if it is rated below 200 degrees then I would re-flush and add new anti-freeze 50/50.
