Question about Hyundai Cars & Trucks
If no engine codes are present, remove the air intake duct and check your throttle body for dirt. Operate the throttle by hand and look inside where the flap reaches the body. Usually, when this area is gummed up the idle won't be good and, when pressing the gas it will lurch suddenly. Clean this area and the butterfly or (flap) while being held open on both sides. The body around the flap must be thoroughly cleaned as well with a spray can of carburator cleaner and a lint free cloth. Hope it helps.
