after you take the tire and everything off there should be a large nut in there hopefully you have a big enough socket anyways after that is done pop out the ball joints and possibly tierod once you are in there you should be able to see if you need to anyways most important make sure the vehical is supported by jackstands dont count on a jack alone and slide a nice size v-block under the opposite back tire just for assurence

for the most part they are in between the fuel injector the best thing for you to do is stop by your local GM dealership in the part department and they be able to print you off the pictures and diagrams you need if all fails stop by your local library and get your hands on a Haynes auto repair manual for your car Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as always wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.

i have a 2006 chevy uplander and i need to change the low beam headlamp how do i do it, also about a month after we had got the van the rear wiper stopped working i haven't checked the fuse yet, but is this a common problem for the uplander, and also the abs light stays on what should i do for that problem, and also when we drive it and then shut it off it does not want to turn on right away.

Some of these calipers do not have the ability to be pushed back in with a c-clamp or even a GM caliper tool....there is however, a small diamond shaped piece of metal on the caliper (Caliper reset tool) that allows you to wind the piston back in,,,,I just went through the same thing
