Question about Cars & Trucks
My 16 yr old sons 2005 saturn l300 traction control button stopped working about a week ago. The button light is very dim but shows no indication of activation or deactivation when pushed. This worries me as he is a new driver. Is there a dash indicator that shows it's on or off. Is there a fix for this intermittent problem. Please help.

your problem is the front wheel speed sensor. I had the same problem on my 2004 Denali. The GMC dealer felt there was nothing wrong, no codes. I replaced both from wheel sensors (about $75 each on Ebay) and the problem is fixed. The passenger sensor had a crack in it. I saw this solution on a discussion chat. There was a TSB for the 2002 pickup trucks with the same problem. Hope this helps.

look in your owner's manual for the location of the cruse control fuse it is different from other fuses usually much larger

Try pulling up the brake pedal with your foot,Sometimes your brake doesnt come back all the way,and the brake switch keeps the cruise from working. Also, check the fuse.If those answers dont help,It could be the swith itself is bad. Those can be bought at a parts store.

check all your fuses first then take a look at the brake switch and there is a criuse cancel switch also, i think there may be a problem with the switch, even if the cancel switch was bad i think the power would still stay on but cruise would just stop and power would stay on. check fuses and switches anyway to be sure then take a look at the power switch.
