Traction control

Traction control relies on the wheel speed sensors. Have you changed any tires to a different size? When you say iscturnscoff, does it say traction is disabled? How fast are you going when it happens?

Stability service on dash

Usually means there is a problem with a sensor or other component - and the system is disabled when the light is on.
You need to have the computer scanned for trouble codes.

This 2005 suburban has dual controls and the passenger's air vents puts out warm air while the driver's side puts out cold air. The temperature controles are both set at 60 degrees. any idea?

The way G.M. designed this system is if the a/c system is low on r134a, the passenger side is disabled to allow driver comfort. When the system gets too low it will shut down a/c all together. Another problem could be faulty interior temp sensor on right side of dash, or stuck blend door/servo motor in a/c box under dash. Programmers are also known to fail.

How can i disable the daylight running lights on 2002 Windstar?

the daylight running lights are tied into your body control module. in otherwords a computer controls turning them on and off. Not sure if you have seperate bulbs for day light but if you do then you can just disconnect them. Otherwise i would not recommend messing with them. The dealer may be able to reprogram your vehicle but in some states i think it is illegal to disable them. Safety feature!

2005 suburban stabilatrac disabled

The Reduce Engine Power problem on my 03 Suburban went away when I had to replace the fuel mixing sensor. I damaged the sensor by topping off with E85 (ethanol) by mistake late at night. The vehicle just would not turn on in the morning. The vehicle had to be towed to the dealer. I was in Carlsbad NM about 800 miles from home. I had no choice but to pay $1,100 to get it fixed. At the same time the Reduce Engine Power problem went away. And thanks to God it has not come back for nine 9 months now.
