Mate I use to drive a freightliner and it cut out on me one day, I eventually got it started but cut out again after about 5 minutes, I rang a mechanic to come out and he found a heat sensor wire came off the radiator and that caused the motor to cut out... Hope I haven't wasted your time.......

Engine starts and runs for a second and then stops

Sounds like a key code issue. Was the key dropped and fell apart? the car will most likely need to go to an agent to repair.

from the module, replace the wire back close to the harness. Wiggling shouldn't effect it anymore.

My VTcommodore runs for a while then stops i might try to start it 10 times then it will run again it might go 50 meters or 10 klms then stop .it might not start again for 24 hrs then run perfectly for 20...

check your crank angle sensor. start your car then wait for it to stop again then pour a descent amount of water over it then start your car again. if that works, u will need to get it replaced. sensor is to the top of the pulley at the bottom of the motor (big bottom pulley). hope this works

Toy starts runs 10 seconds and stops change fuel filter now wont

When you tur the key forward do you hear the fuel pump running? You should hear a low hum for about 20 seconds near the gas tank and then it stops. If you hear this your pump is good. If it keeps running or you can't hear it at all it's bad or the main fuel pump fuse is blown.

Sounds like censor issues. Have diagnostics run on the vehicle to find the culprit.
