SOURCE: oil dipstick tube

On my girlfriend's 93 (same generation), it's right in front, between the two middle exhaust manifold runners. You should see a hole in the heat shield, and the dipstick handle is right there. If the dipstick is missing, look through that hole with a flashlight and you'll see the tube there.

SOURCE: location of oil dipstick

The oil dipstick is located at the back of the engine.  If you look at the engine from a top view it is located at about 11 o'clock.  It's black.

How do i put transmission fluid myself in a 1997 mercedes benz

Transmission fluid (ATF), like engine oil, should be checked regularly. The transmission box has a dipstick, like the engine. To check the ATF level, firstly locate the dipstick which is in the engine compartment. You will see the tube which carries the dipstick runs at an angle to the transmission box as opposed to the engine oil dipstick which runs almost directly down.
Checking the level involves starting the car and while the engine is running with the selector lever in P (Park) remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, then push it back and remove it again. Now you can check the level. Fluid is usually added into the dipstick tube.
If you are losing ATF, check for leaks because the A/T usually does not consume ATF.

How do I add transmission fluid to a 2000 Volvo S70

The Dipstick that is located in the front right side of the engine compartment is the filler tube. You will need a funnel.

Where does the transmission fluid go

Automatic transmission fluid goes into the same tube the transmission dipstick occupies. It's slightly larger than the oil dipstick and is commonly located further back in the engine compartment than the oil dipstick. You should make sure not to overfill the transmission fluid. Add only until it appears between the indicators on the trans. fluid dipstick.

Were to put the transmition oil i can not find'it

if this is a automatic then the filler tube is also the trans dipstick tube located on the passenger side of engine compartment toward the rear of engine, check with engine running. If it is a stick shift then you have to acess the filler plug under truck on side of trans.

I can't locate where to fill the transmission fluid. Any tips?

Remove the transmission dipstick and add fluid in the tube. Use a funnel and add small amounts at a time with the engine at operating temperature. Re-insert the dipstick after adding each small amount to check the level. DO NOT OVERFILL.

Can;t locate auto transmission dipstick on 1985 honda civic

on passenger side of engine compartment you have the transmission, if you look down from above. there should be an inconspicuous round black rubber knob sticking up from a short tube kinda down low in the engine compartment, on the front-side of the transmission. definitely not as obvious as the oil stick

Where is the dipstick for the transmission???

It should be at the fire wall in the engine compartment. Do u have the owners manual? That would show a diagram of where to find it.
