The plugs are on top of the engine underneath the ignition coils.

My Kia picanto 2005 model 1.1 is overheating but it can run for distance and thereafter it automatically switch itself off

If you are not sure what you are doing when repairing a car get a qualified repairer to do it for you.
The most common reason for overheating is a bad thermostat in the cooling system Get that checked and replaced if it's bad. they're usually cheap to buy.
The Spark plugs will not cause overheating. What exactly do you mean by "tried to change the spark plugs"?

Change spark plufs

You change spark plugs every 3 years,
regardless of mileage, then you can forget
about them, if you have other issues, as the years
go by

I assume you do not work on your own vehicles, if
you do not say you do & if you had experience, then
spark plugs wouldn't be the issue

That said, I have no idea why your asking.

I would guess you never go to a repair shop, or we
have no idea why the question !

I have a 2000 navigator and the check engine lght came on so brought it in test said 8th spark plug was mis fire and need to change coil also so had it changed all was well for half the ride home then...

Hello epereira.
If you did not change the spark plug at the same time it may be overloading the ignition coil. Also there may be a broken, worn or carbon tracked insulator on the spark plug.

(1) If the gap is worn it makes the coil work harder trying to jump the gap.

(2) If the spark plug insulator is broken it may not be a coil problem at all.

(3) If the porcelain insulator on the spark plug has dirt or carbon on it the spark may be following it on the outside of the plug rather than jumping the gap at the end.

I would recommend you get a pro to change your spark plugs on this engine. They can be a problem to remove and reinstall properly and very expensive to repair if not done correctly.

New spark plugs in a 2003 Lexus

Yes, it is very hard to change the plugs. Your lexus also likely has coils on top of the plugs, which you especially don't want to break. I would recommend taking the car into a dealer for the repair.

Replacing spark plugs

unless you have a specific issue with the plugs , don't waste your money changing them
the v6 engine has the rear plugs as platinum plugs because it is near impossible to change them and modern engines
( manufacturer design fault in the location of the engine and so they fitted special plugs before installing the engine )
plugs last the life of the engine
if you are doing a "tune up" that is a waste of money as the ECM tunes the engine 60 times a minute
all you have to do for a "tune up" is to have the fault codes read for sensor problems
