My ASC+T Indicator Lamp lights and car can't move...

Hi I tried to start my car (BMW 321i 1996) and when I ignited the car
it sounded strange. The sound dragged on. I also noticed the ASC+T
Indicator Lamp on and I don't know what that means. That's the first
time I've seen it. I tried to drive the car, but it wouldn't move. The
car would shake for like 5 seconds and stop completely (the engine
doesn't turn off though).
Anyone know what's going on? Please help!

When your ASC light is on this is to let you know your Automatic
Stability Control system is switched off press the ASC button Till
light is off /ASC is on this works with your rev limiter and should
stabilized your idle. If the problem persists have your throttle
control unit checked as this can trigger the ASC light as well and may
also activate the ABS light if not fixed
