SOURCE: My 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII will not start. It

Check your power to your fuel pump. Put your ear to the filler for the gas and get someone to turn on the key, do not crank.. You should here the fuel pump cut on. If not suspect pump problem. You can also take the lin loose at the fuel filter and check to see if gas comes out after key is turned on and work your way to the engine if you get gas there just follow the lines.

SOURCE: Average cost to repair the ABS on a Lincoln Mark VIII.

Im sure it will be expensive ,,All cars will resort back to the base brake system, just like a car that didn't have abs so it should be ok as long as there are no fluid leaks in the brake system.

Yes i was wondering can i swap out a 2003 ford mustang cobra motor and put it in a 1993 Lincoln Mark Vlll they both have the same engine 4.6L 32v 4cams just mustang cobra has a supercharger so i was...

can it be done? Yes. is it easy? No. While the basic design of the engine is the same, they are completely different. The cobra in 2003, had different heads, intake and rotating assembly. Also the 03 cobra is an ODBII vehicle while your 93 model is ODBI. i have seen several mark viii's that retained the stock engine, but bolted on the cobra intake. It requires some modifications but is relatively straight forward. hit up some of the mark viii forums, they pictures and in depth discussions on how the swaps are done.

Hi, i lift my lincoln mark viii '94 to change the breaks. and when a removed the jack lifter the suspension came down (back and front). what happenned??? what can i do? thanks.

If you failed to shut off the air suspension switch (located in the trunk) you may have blown an air line when you jacked the car up. All Lincolns equipped with air suspension should have it shut off whenever jacking up the car. You can try to turn the switch off and back on to see if the air springs refill but if not, trace the air lines from the compressor to both the front and rear to check for a blown line. If you don't detect a blown line, you may have damaged the air springs.
