My gsx won't start

My 95 mitsubishi eclipse gsx won't start. it's cranks but wont start. i drove it, then i turn off the engine but when i went to try and start it again it won't start. i mean it started but was on for only 3 seconds or so. i tried gasing it but it wouldnt stay on. so i waited for an hour or so to try and start it again and when i try it again it started so i thought it was okay, but when i start it this time it wont start at all. i checked all the fuses and the wires... i took one of my sparkplug out but left the sparkplug wire on it and then try to start it to see if it makes any spark,, which it didnt so i think its the ignition module... but i'm not really sure, any help you can give me is useful thanks......

Check timing, Just had an engine swap done on my 95 Eagle Talon TSi "same engine" the guy had the timing belt off, I had the car running for 2 months with minor problems with idle and almost a fuel cut symptom with high boost, but turns out I was just ramming my Intake valves into the pistons.

Check the fuel systemmy gsx won't start - 2_bing.gif to make sure it's getting gas. Take the back seat out and turn the ignition on without cranking the car. You should hear the fuel pump make noise for a few seconds as it pressurizes the system and then turns off. If you don't hear anything, it would probably be the pump or one of the two relays on the firewall2_bing.gif next to the master cylinder. I replace the cheaper of the two relays and that fixed my problem.

I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I was driving and it went dead. It will turn over but won't crank?

'Turning over' _is_ 'Cranking'! Yours is cranking, but not firing or starting.

Fuse 9? You need an auto electrician to find the short.

Crank but wont start after i had drove it around and parked

It sounds like your coolant temp sensor, you have two in your car, one goes to your dash and will tell you what temp your car is and the other runs to the ecm and adjusts the air fuel mixture according to the engine temp. Basically the choke, think of it like trying to start a lawn mower keeping the fuel lever on low.

2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse; Started then Died

Sounds like the battery is the problem. It's losing power buy a poor connection and the car's computer is trying to reset itself. Replace the battery and the cables.

95 civic wont start

An engine needs 3 things to run: Fuel, compression, ignition.

Maybe the timing belt went out. Take off the dist cap and see if the rotor turns as you crank the engine.

Next run a compression test on all the cylinders.
