The injectors get power from a 15amp fuse and the computer controls on time by providing the ground circuit.
Do they have power ?

SOURCE: olds alero 2.4 idle fuel pressure

most likely idle air control sensor or low engine coolant I know sounds funny but IAC uses coolant to regulate idle. Idle air control valve or throttle body positioning sensor.

SOURCE: Where is the fuel pressure regulator on a 2003 oldsmobile alero?

There are 2 fuel lines connecting to the fuel injector rail. The larger line is the pressure line and the smaller line is the return line. The smaller line attaches to the fuel pressure regulator. You will notice that the regulator also has a vacuum line attached to it. If you are planning on changing it your self, let me know. There is a specific way to change it for safety reasons.
Let me know.

SOURCE: throttle body injectors not fiering but there is fuel pressure

the injectors are fired thru the engine cotrol module but it gets its signal to fire from the pick-up located inside the distributor if you are loosing injector pulse only the ignition module is bad if you are also loosing spark when you loose injector pulse your pick up is causing the problem if you replace the pick-up i recomend you change the ignition module when doing so because they work together and you have to remove the distributor to change the pick-up

That eliminates the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors. Have you checked the fuel injector itself for an open winding or stuck valve plunger? There should not be a steady 12 volts to the injector--if good injector, it would be spraying fuel steadily into the throttle body. But at least the engine should try to run if poorly. Take the injector out, dry it off with air, and intermittently apply 12 volts to one terminal while grounding the other. You should hear a click from inside every time you touch 12 volts. If not, replace it. If it does, it may be plugged with debris. Try blowing through it in reverse with compressed air.

2003 Oldsmobile Alero starts and then dies. I've put new crankshaft sensor in it and fuel filter. Battery is good and the fuel pump is working. The security light isn't on, what else could it be?

Question edited for clarity and typos.
Question moved to model category.

It is a known issue. Fuel pumps can work, but not provide enough pressure, so you need to test with a pressure gauge. There is also a Pressure Regulator. Have a read of this.

2003 olds alero crank no start, thought it was passlock. by passed this, it almost starts with either. cycle the key and pump works but no pressure after that.

Make sure you're getting power to the fuel pump after start up. GM cars provide power to the electric fuel pump via the starting circuit when cranking and switch to alternator/battery power via the fuse block and 12v relay with ignition on in run position. Check your fuse block (bad fuse; power not getting to part of fuse block) and fuel pump relay. Could also be plugged fuel filter, bad pump or ?. but not likely because you get fuel while cranking. Check for error codes in the engine control computer (GM OBDII) as well but that probably won't show anything. Good luck and good hunting. I had a similar problem with a Chev Astro. Turned out to be power not getting to one bank of the fuse block because of a burned junction terminal buried behind the battery under the hood. Get out the multimeter and start looking for failed electrical components or broken wires.

2003 oldsmolibe alero only starts with starting fluid then runs fine

well, the only cause is no fuel. it could be a blown fuse and or relay to fuel pump. or a restricted fuel filter. or a bad fuel pump. heres how to hear if pump is running. place hand on bottom of fuel tank, have a person turn key to on. you may have to do this a few times,if working, you will feel a vibration in tank. for a fuel pump only runs for a few seconds to pressurize the line to engine. but it runs all the time the car is running. check for a bad fuse or relay first ! good-day !

I have hyundai accent 2003. While driving the engine died. Checked fuses, ignition, fuel pump(don't know if the pressure is right),starter is starting ok.

#1. Scan for trouble codes. If any, record them and let us know which ones they are.
#2. Connect a fuel gauge to the fuel delivery line at the engine... try to start the engine while monitoring fuel pressure... if there is fuel pressure (approx 35 to 50 lbs), the problem is elsewhere.
If no fuel pressure, check fuel pump relay, fuse, wiring to fuel pump connector (power & ground - use 12volt test light). If power & ground are present, problem is the pump (fuel filter is attached to the fuel pump inside the tank).
#3. Check injectors for injector pulse, check ignition coils for spark to spark plugs.
