you need your system pressure tested. sounds as if you are just a little low on r134a, may need to just top it off

You need to vaccum the system down and recharge. You can rent the tools from autozone for a deposit thats fully refundable. Its very easy, if you are mechanicialy inclined.
It dosent hurt to replace your dryer and expansion valve. Hope this helps.
