First of all, my BMW

First of all, my BMW is a 2000 740i, not a 750,but you have no listing for a 740. I corresponded last Sunday with charlymonty, conversation id 41567. Refer to that for my problem then. Since then, I have killed the battery trying to start the car, had the battery checked... it is stong...tried a new battery to see if that made a difference. Same, no start...like a dead battery. When I corresponded with charlymonty, the problem was grinding the starter trying to get it to start. No matter cold or hot. Usually after trying twice it would start. hen after the dead battery...I recharged and tried.Then it acted like a dead battery...just a clicking sound. I then hooked my booster to the battery...same result. I checked current with my test light and there is current to the starter. The radio plays and ligghts come on. Charymonty thinks the slow start is the fuel pump which I was preparing to replace until the dead battery sympton started. Finally, since Sunday, I have been trying to get Fixya to forward conversation 41567 to this email address. I don't see why that is such ap problem. Thank you, John McCain
