Break bolt lose on harmonic balancer keep spinning

Hello. If you have a impact gun it will spin off , if not you can use a pair of vise grips and a leather glove. Put the glove around the pully and pinch it with the vise grips. This will help you keep from bending or putting nicking up the pully. Then just turn the bolt until the vise grips hit the side of the housing and you should be able to break it lose.

The car was parked and running. it made a extremely loud noise and then stopped. I got out and looked under the hood and I found the the "pully" guide or the round disc that the belt rides on that is...

No special tools required. The bold which holds the crankshaft pully on is a 22mm bolt. Once removed, you can remove the harmonic balancer and replace it with a new one. If you have access to an impact gun/wrench and compressed air at 90 psi, you can do this easily yourself -- the cost?.. depends if you get the part from a junk yard or from a Hyundai Parts department.
