How do I replace the interior dome READING LAMP bulbs on Grand Marquis on a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis LS? The reading lights are burnt out in the front dome light. One of those has been for a while and now the other one has finally bit the dust. They seem a little hard to get to, is there an easy way?

you may be able to access the bulb housing under the hood. open the hood and look behind the turn signal for the bulb housing. once located, grasp the housing and turn counterclockwise about a quarter and then pull. be sure to replace wtih the same type/part number bulb.

I changed the front left marker light on side of headlight assembly by unscrewing the screw on the far back of it. then i just pulled it off. it felt like it was gonna break but it came off just fine

SOURCE: what is the best replacement
For 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis 4.6L is recommended spark plug Autolite platinum AP764, or an Autolite double platinum APP764. If you want to use exactly the same plug as the original, take out one of the plugs, and read the number on it. Keep in mind that has GAP of .054".
Additionally, remember that the Parts Catalogue say MOTORCRAFT as brand parts replacement, then I suggest check the next links like choice to right selection:
- Ignition Coil - Motorcraft - In-cap coil
- Ignition Coil - AC Delco - In-cap coil
Hope this helps.
