The fuel filter is located above the gas tank i changed mine last year, but if your car is acting like mine it stalls right after start up too . i was just informed by my mechanic there is a chance the fuel pump might be going.

Why does my 93 Honda Accord run fine and then dies going down the road and will start again and die again?

There is a black fuel relay way up under the top left driver side dash that breaks its main wire solder connections on the circuit board under over-heat conditions. Resolder that relay. Starting fluid will show that you have lost fuel delivery under no start conditions. You can use the breather hose from the valve cover for this test.

No engine light on? Sounds to me like the bumpy road may be knocking something loose. It would help to know if you have fuel pressure when the problem arises.

I was driving down the road going home from work at a speed of about 50mph(about 7 miles from work). The car had a slight miss to it but kept going for about another 1/2 mile and then have another slight...

Well, I would try to check the spark to make sure the ignition system is providing spark to the spark plugs. Then, I would check fuel pressure, to make sure that the injectors are getting enough pressure to provide gas to the cylinders, using a fuel pressure gauge on the rail.

Its been in for electrical work, now it just seems to lose all power and slowly die. this morning it kind of caught it self picked back up and kept going but after that it died totaly i can usualy restart...

Have you checked or changed your fuel filter lately. The particles in the filter dam up while the engine is running. When it stalls, all the particles fall back away from the outlet so the engine will start again allowing the particles to dam up...etc etc.
