REPLACED CONTROL MOUGIL STARTS NOW BUT WONT STAY RUNNING LONG

was getting on freeway and turn the cornor sharp and camaro started to die like it was trying to shut off i pulled over turned it off then try'd to start it and nuthin just turning over is all it would do!changed control Moudgil after finging out that was the problem and it started right up better then it has in a while andnow it wont stay running for more then a few minutes or it wont let me put it in gear niether without dieing~~WHAT IS WRONG=(
