Question about 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser
Because everytime we leave the car outside and not in our garage we have noticed that when we get a heavy rain the car will not turn over, it will make the click noise but, saddly it wont turn over until the water drys out from where ever it falls. we took it to a mentensice shop and the gentleman there said it was the crank sensor, so my quesion is how exactaly you replace, and get to the thing? thanks for all your help it is greatly apprectiated.
The crank sensor has nothing to do with the car not turning over. Sounds like you have a bad connection at the starter, or the starter itself. That is if it just clicks when you go to start it. Now if it turns over, and won't fire, you may have a sensor issue.
