I have a 1998 Honda oddysse that started running rough. Well unless I give gas it won't start or stay running while running it feel like it isn't hitting on all cylinders

Running this poorly could be EGR valve sticking open; bad coolant temp sensor; dirty idle air control sticking open; bad coil or ignition module.

2001 honda odyssey has a p1399 code changed spark plugs and checked coils but still has a rough idle maybe egr valve or ports blocked with carbon

code p 1399 refers to random misfire ===causes --fuel /ignition--MAP sensor---IAC valve ( idle air control valve )
misfires are more from faulty injectors and low fuel pressure than from electronic problems
unless you have been burning lots of oil , the ports will be clean so have the injectors serviced

My 1995 fxstsb keeps misfiring on the rear cylinder. I have replaced the coil, plugs, and wires and after about 5 minutes of running good it started misfiring and sputtering again. What else can it be

Hi Anonymous, and the usual suspects are:
1. Spark plugs in bad condition or partially fouled.
2. Spark plug cables in bad condition or leaking.
3. Spark plug gap to close or to wide.
4. Faulty ignition coil, module and or sensor.
5. Battery nearly discharged.
6. Damaged wire or loose connections at battery terminals especially the negative cable at "BOTH" ends, ignition coil, or plug between ignition sensor and module.
7. Intermittent short circuit due to damaged wire insulation.
8. Water or dirt in fuel system, carburetor or filter.
9. Fuel tank vent system plugged or carburetor vent line closed off.
10. Carburetor controls misadjusted.
11. Damaged carburetor or intake seals.
12. Loose or dirty ignition module connector at crankcase.
13. Faulty MAP, CKP, and or CMP sensors.
14. Incorrect valve timing.
15. Weak or broken valve springs.
16. Damage intake or exhaust valve.

Good luck and have nice day.

95 honda civivc randomly doesnt start, replaced distrebuter cap roter and coil, checked main relay its good, what do I check next?

Do you check the idle air control valve? It's a small modul the the intake connector (cylindric shape, lock on the web it's easely foundable). Unmount it completly and clean it with WD-40 or carb cleaner, maybe it's carbon deposite who sticks the valve. You can knock on it to release it if you are jamed somewhere.

My 95 honda oddessey wont start. was driving and engine shut down. Replaced the distributor with the coil and iginter, because i had no spark now i still have no spark

Check the ignition switch, they are known to go bad. Two 6mm screws on the back side of the lock cylinder hold it in place. If it is original it is more than likely bad. Here is a link that was extremely helpful to me in resolving my no-start condition:

My Odyssey 1995 problem is now; after turning Ignition Switch to 'off' Day lights stay on, heater fan still work, electric mirrors and doors lock are both powered. Sometimes, radiator fan turn. This...

It sounds like you're have a ignition harness(switch) problem. The igniton harness(switch) on this odyssey are known to go bad. The spring in the ignition harness(switch) sometime worn out or doesn't lock into the right position. I'll start by replace this first.
